USER'S TERMS AND AGREEMENT
1. What is HomeschoolAds.com This site exists to provide the homeschooling community with a FREE and safe place on the internet to buy and sell USED or new homeschool and educational materials such as books, curriculum, and more. If you have items that you have purchased for your personal use and you don't need them anymore, this is the place to sell them! NO COMMISSIONS! NO LISTING FEES! ABSOLUTELY FREE!
2. Who Can Post Free Ads? Everyone over 18 years of age is welcome to register and post Free ads to sell USED items.
3. I own a small business? Can I also list? Yes! HomeschoolAds.com is business-friendly! We encourage businesses, especially those owned by stay-at-home homeschooling parents to list items here. Educational and family-friendly businesses are absolutely welcome to join! Yes, it's FREE!
4. What About Those Banner Ads? - The rotating banner ads you see on top of each page are paying sponsors. They make it possible for us to pay for the cost of maintaining this site, and also keep this site FREE for everyone's use! Please click on the banners to support our sponsors. If own a business and would like to find out how to place your banner ads here, please contact us.
5. What Items Can I Post? Do You Ban Certain Items? - Family-safe and kid-friendly items only please! We subscribe to strong Christian and traditional family values! Ad placement is subject to our approval. We reserve the right to delete or modify ads that are inappropriate for this site (these include but are not limited to: personal ads, dating ads, foul language, pornography, alternative lifestyles, cult activities, wicca, witchcraft, gambling, pirated warez, products that violate copyright and trademark laws etc). Please read our mission and statement of faith. Example of banned items are: Pokemon, Harry Potter, Beast Wars, Transformers, Goose Bumps, anything scary or beastly. Please your judgement. If you think an item is something you do not want your child to play with or see, please do not post them here.
6. Maximum Items You Can Post - The maximum number of items/ads a person can post is 50 items at any given time. As soon as one (1) of your items sells and the total number becomes 49, you may then place another ad. More items are allowed for our paying advertisers.
7. Maximum Days Before Ad Expires - The maximum number of days for any ad is 90 days. After this time, your ad will expire. Once an ad expires, you may then repost the ad.
8. How do I Sell (or close a sale)? - Once the User (Seller) has placed an ad, a person may respond to the ad by e-mail (e-mail is sent directly to Seller, not to HomeschoolAds.com). Communication and negotiation regarding the purchase will be between the Buyer and the Seller.
9. How do I accept payments? - The Seller sets the terms for payment. Recommended FREE online payment services that accept credit cards are: PayPal or Yahoo!Pay Direct.
10. Removal of Items Already Sold - Please be considerate. Kindly remove any items that have been sold.
11. Leaving FeedBack - To maintain a friendly atmosphere, integrity and to encourage honest and fair transactions, please leave feedback on a seller or buyer. You may not defame a person or post unkind or foul language.
12. It shall be the User's sole responsibility to monitor his or her ads. HomeschoolAds.com will not monitor click-throughs or other statistics for Users.
13. It shall be the User's sole responsibility to notify HomeschoolAds.com of changes in his or e-mail address and other pertinent information.
14. HomeschoolAds.com does not have any involvement in the completion of purchases and transactions, including but not limited to any refunds or warranties offered. Users (Buyers and Sellers) are solely responsible for working out the sale and exchange. HomeschoolAds.com does not have authority to act for either the seller or buyer. Since the transaction is between Users (Buyers and Sellers), HomeschoolAds.com does not get involved if there is a dispute between the buyer and seller.
15. Users (Sellers) agree to assume all legal liability, losses, and legal fees related to their ads placed on HomeschoolAds.com's Free Classifed Ads. These include but are not limited to claims and suits for plagiarism, libel, copyright infringement, trademark violations, harm to minors, or invasion of privacy. Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless HomeschoolAds.com, its owners and workers from any such charges or suits.
16. HomeschoolAds.com does not guarantee, either by verbal or written or implied means, that placement of ads will result in sales, income, or other earnings.
17. HomeschoolAds.com reserves the right to terminate any User who fails to abide by these terms and conditions.
18. HomeschoolAds.com reserves the right to modify the above terms and conditions at anytime without notice to Users.
19. HomeschoolAds.com reserves the right to terminate and discontinue this free service at anytime without notice to Users.
